Eight weeks ago I volunteered to take a role in a theater production, as well as a part in a film. Little did I realise how much this would eat into my free time. After the weekend I will be active on the website again. I have started to prepare some further articles and the next video has been set...
This week we are looking at the double ended diesel of 1958 ((R159) and the R257 pantograph variant from 1959.
This week we are looking at the Dock Authority shunter from 1957. The R253 and the Transcontinental R353 variants. Included is the very rare 1977 variant with late buffers.
Triang Locomotives Part 8 looks at the EMU (1957-1963) and the DMU (1958-1975). I failed to mention that the BR blue variant was from 1970. I should also have mentioned that the DMU was based on the Metropolitan-Cammell 101 unit from 1955.
I have been unable to bring you all the things I wanted to recently, The attic has been like an oven, making any work difficult. However, I have been able to produce a weekly video.
In Part 7 we take a look at the Transcontinental R155 Road Switcher, based on the ALCO 1500hp RS2. Starting in 1957 we look at the original produced in three colours, the 1960s changes and the 1965 CN livery.
After a three week break, I am back on track with the website again
R152 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter Type 08 This week we are looking at the 1956 shunter from Triang. This loco stayed in production until 1975.
New video added. This week we take a look at the R55 single ended diesel, based on the North American F7. Aimed at the Canadian market, the model was made from 1955 to 1971 in the UK.
